As a Dishwasher, you play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchen. Your commitment to following Mister O1’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensures consistency, sanitation, and smooth operations throughout each shift.
Duties & Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Organize and load all dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware into the dishwasher.
- Clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishware, flatware, and glassware.
- Use all cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, following recommended quantities for safety and cost control.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and correctly in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain, empty, clean, and disinfect all trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Ensure all trash bins are properly cleaned and replenished with new liners.
- Keep dishwashing and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as required to support kitchen operations.
- Follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards set by Mister O1.
Tools & Technology:
- Commercial dishwashing machine.
- Cleaning tools, brushes, and sanitizing equipment.
- Approved cleaning chemicals.
- Trash bins and waste-removal tools.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
- Complete Mister O1 training certification requirements satisfactorily.
- Demonstrate reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work cooperatively with kitchen staff and management.
Essential Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to:
- Sit, climb, stoop, and kneel as needed for cleaning tasks.
- Tolerate long periods of standing and being on their feet.
- Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Work in warm, humid, and fast-paced conditions within the kitchen area.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to:
- Wet and humid conditions.
- Hot equipment and steam.
- Cleaning chemicals.
- Moderate noise levels typically found in a kitchen environment.
